MuGen has been developed through many years, and is based on real world music theory used by professionals.

MuGen uses guided randomization and AI to generate MIDI music based on your input parameters. MIDI is a very portable format and is the industry standard. That means it can be imported into nearly any music software out there like DAW's for further refinement. There you can assign real world instruments samples or VST's to the tracks, and do mixing/mastering.
